My precious red mandarinfish is
my undergraduate final work.
‘I find a super attractive mandarinfish in the sea on the way to the desert, I indulge in it, and take it with me on my journey. But it becomes weaker and weaker during the trip, I want to try my best to save its life, I talk to it, comfort it, and fight with the blackbird in the shadow of sand. Eventually, I realize all it needs is water, but I can only keep throwing wet sand at it.’
I tell the story of a sick symbiotic relationship in a metaphorical way. In this story, the mandarinfish is a symbiotic object, the girl is the subject, and the darkness gives birth to the regrets which is the blackbird who always fights with the girl.
